I put a little 'product' in Ike's hair and he looked so handsome I wanted to take a few pictures of him. Well he pulled out all his cheese grins he's been doing to entertain everyone. Although cute they just don't do him justice.
Now that's what I'm talking about. He's my handsome little man.Enjoy Ike's laughter and ignore my high pitched noises and my white legs. Thank you.
Ike's new favorite hangout/toy is the laundry basket. He loves when I bring it in with a load of laundry. He immediately starts pulling the clothes out and when he gets bored with that he starts pushing the basket around.
Ike and I went to the park on Tuesday with my friend Hannah and her two cute girls Kaylee and Mya. We met up at 8:30 (ok really 8:45) which seams stinking early but the temperature was just right.
He loves the swing, It's about the only thing at the park that he can really play on now, but just wait. Pretty soon he'll be running around climbing everything.
I wouldn't go as far as to say he liked the horsey but he sat on it for a while.
It was a good day at the park.
Plus he got to cop-a-feel!

Ike loves riding this scooter, with the help of his dad. Although I have a feeling if he could do it himself he would, for hours.
Ike's going to be such a good big brother some day, no not anytime soon (knock on wood).
Ike has this toy that he pushes around and then climbs on the stairs. So the other morning he pushed it up to the table and started playing with my keys. So I pushed the keys to the center of the table figuring they were out of reach. I walked into the kitchen and next thing I know...
My little stinker climbed up even higher on his toy than usual and reached the keys. I'm not sure weather to consider him smart and creative or worry that this is just the beginning. Both I guess.
Ike has the cutest lips. Ever since he was a new born he was making cute little faces and puckering his lips. Don't you just want to give him a smooch.
For a few days he kept pulling this face which we thought was hilarious. Funny thing was he would use it when he was happy and when he was upset. Sadly he stopped doing it a few days later.
Luckily I got a few good shots of it. I can't wait to see the next faces he makes, keep posted.
I've been having lots of fun playing with my birthday balloons.
Sometimes when I crawl they come with me. Lots of times they have balloons on my favorite show Yo Gabba Gabba. This is a song I like cause it's pretty.
My mom's a slacker and threw me a Birthday Party a month late. Whatever man.
It was a monkey party so there was a Pinata and monkey cupcakes and all that jazz. I'm too pooped to blog about it so check out my mom's blog to get the skinny on the haps yo.
Matt came home on the 4th of July! Which is perfect since that's his mothers favorite holiday. We all went to the airport to meet him when he got off the plane (walked through the airport and exited the security area). It's so good to have him home.
I think he's stay a missionary for a long time still. Especially when he has little guys to teach.
I am so excited for Matt to get home. It's all Ike has been talking about for weeks, granted it's the only word he knows but still. Matt has served a great mission in Hawaii, he was zone leader and pretty much rocked. He's such an amazing person, I can't wait for him to come home and see what he does next. We love you Matt, See you in the morning!
Yes that's my hair, and yes it's not on my head, it's attached to a pillow that Ike sleeps with now. So far it's been responsible for two uninterrupted nights sleep, not consecutively however. I made it a while ago and kind of kept it hidden cause I thought Ryan would make fun of me. I wasn't going to post about it but Ryan outed me to his family and they thought it was "hairlarious", and that I had to. Since you asked, I sectioned out a narrow row from the middle of the back of my hair, put a rubber band around it, cut it, super glued it, then sewed it into the pillow. It's actually quite secure, more so than my head. I know I'm probably just reinforcing some weird hair fetish in my son but if it gets me a few more hours sleep and a less pulling out of the hair on my head then so be it.

There was a reason they were covering their ears. It's amazing how much noise two kids can make. I was tempted to make a video but I didn't think anyone would want to watch/hear that.
Aren't the boys so cute. I looked through the pictures a few times and hadn't noticed Christian holding Ike's hand, how sweet is that. I know Ike is just itching to be able to run around and play with his cousins.
