Oops!

Thankfully you can't see it very well, but Ike got his first boo-boo and I feel like a terrible mom. I had him propped up on the couch while I was cleaning up a bit before Auntie Sarah got here. Then I heard a bonk and my heart stopped for a second and I ran over to the couch and Ike was on the floor. Poor little guy. He had a good little cry and has a little bruise to show for it but otherwise he's doing just fine. Now I know, he's getting more mobile and I'm going to have to be more careful. Lesson learned.

Camera Shy

Ryan won't let me take a picture of it but he has Ike in his Baby Bjorn facing outward and Ryan is playing Playstation. It's pretty darn cute.

Like Mother Like Son

Ike's discovered his thumb. I wish I could find a picture of me sucking my thumb. I know I have one somewhere because I sucked my thumb til I was 6 years old. Hopefully Ike will break the habit before then. He's just so darn cute sucking it though I had to film a little clip.

New Song

Daddy come up with a new song for me... "Bib free, to drool if I want, any old time"
As you can see I'm living bib free today and my shirt is the worse for it. That's ok cause this shirt has a soccer ball on it that daddy thinks is stupid even though it's mommies favorite sport.

Monkey Boy

I read Ike his favorite book about Sock Monkey's that his favorite 'auntie' Sarah gave him. He got so excited when I was reading it he was moving his arms up and down which I've only seen him do when he gets really excited. Hopefully he can keep up the excitement about books.

Curious Ike

Ryan and Ike were watching Curious George last night and Ryan noticed that Ike looks like Curious George. It's kind of true, I think it's the big cheeks.

Little Cowboy

Ike just woke up from a nap and made this cute face. We've gotten good at taking naps together now, as long as a certain something is close enough for him to find and feed when he starts to wake up.

What are those things

I finally attatched the bear mobile to his swing. He couldn't stop staring at it at first, but then i think it started freaking him out. He may just be sick of being in the swing. I haven't been able to hold him as much as I've wanted to but he's being a good baby anyways.

Hoody!

Ike's sporting his first hoody. I love the fall and now that Ike's getting bigger he can fit into some of his new cute clothes. So we didn't actually leave the house today but at least he was styling anyways.

Bubble Boy

Ike has a new trick, or I like to call it a talent. He can blow bubbles with his abundant amount of drool. It's good he's found something useful to do with it all. His shirt is usually wet down to his belly button from sucking on his fist. Ryan's mom said his brother Matt drooled so much he had to wear a bib all the time. He's not quite there yet but may be soon. If anyone see's cute bibs let me know.

Mommy play with me

I was watching TV or on the computer and I had Ike in his swing, I looked over at him and he had the sweetest saddest look on his face. I had to grab my camera then I had to take him out and play with him.

Bobble Head Baby

I have a little bobble head baby. He actually does have a strong neck now but his cheeks are just so big it's hard to hold them up all the time.

It's football season

Ike's really excited about it, can't you tell. His favorite teams are BYU, USC and the Raiders. Or well that's his dad's favorites so they get to be Ike's too. I myself am not ready for football season, especially since baseball season isn't over yet. It does mean the beginning of Fall and I do like that. Silver lining people, always look for it.

On being 3 (months)

It's good to be 3 (months), I'm getting bigger and stronger, I can laugh, roll over, and reach out for things. There are a few draw backs though. I've learned that I can cry to get things so I like to practice that new skill. My bum is getting bigger so I'm in size 2 diapers now, which cost more for fewer. I'm bored of my old clothes that are getting too tight but my cute 3 - 6 are still too big. I'm making my mommies arm tired from lugging me around in my carseat.

I'm making up for any bad things by getting cuter everyday, it's the least I can do.

We got to spend the day yesterday at Lagoon with my new bestest gal pal at work Tiffany. We had a lot of fun hanging at the work party. Happy Birthday! Ike has smooches for you.

So Dramatic

Notice the play of light and shadow across the face of the reclining infant. Yeah, yeah, this is kind of a cliche shot but I thought it turned out kind of sweet. I was trying to do some pics this morning without my flash because the flash makes everything look the same. Some turned out really cute and I deleted a lot of blurry babies.

Rock & Roll Hedgehog

Rock & Roll this little hedgehog is on patrol, Sniff-Sniff here I come... Little insects move along!
That's what this outfit says. I think it's awfully cute, not only because it makes him look like a character from a Dr. Seuss book. I think the Curl Hawk it just the right touch to the outfit.

Another Bath Pic

I can't help it, he's just too cute right after he takes his bath. Maybe it's the free no diaper feel that he loves, or maybe it's the daddy time he gets right after the bath.
