Ike loves to read

Especially with his cousins and Aunt Holly.

He's always wanting me to read to him. He'll come up to me with a book put it in my hand, climb up on my lap, then take my other hand and put it on the book and if I don't start reading it to him he fake cries till I do. So far he's only used this sort of manipulation to read and to get his favorite 'lil' Crunchies' snacks but I foresee it being used alot more.

Boy in the Hood

Ike is now sponsored by Hurley. I wish they gave out sponsorships for cuteness cause Ike would get one for sure.

Thanks to TJmaxx he can look like it. If it weren't for Hurley baby and kids clothes Ike wouldn't be the styling kid he is. Especially since I'm not a big fan of character and cutsie kid clothes.
I may just have to email Hurley with some of Ike's pictures and see about that sponsorship, how could they deny Ike.

Dawgy dawgy sweater

Going back through pictures I took in Sept and didn't post I came across these cutest pictures ever. I saw this little doggy sweater at Target and had to get it.

There is one on there that looks like Osky so how could I resist. Plus is looks so darn cute on Ikers.
Ike already loves dogs. One of the first things he learned was to pat his leg to get Oskar to come. Now he grabs my hand and pats it for me. Sometimes he'll even say dawgy dawgy dawgy. He loves throwing balls for Oskar to chase after. He thinks it's the funniest thing ever.
He's got his daddy's looks and his love of animals, thank goodness.

Ike has some big shoes to fill

Ike has started putting our shoes and walking around. I was pretty impressed, I didn't think kids did that till later. He did pretty good except that one was backwards. I can't wait till he's walking around in my high heels.

Dance dance revolution

Just a short video to show off Ike's dancing skills.

Retro Pony Ride

Ike and I got to hang out with some new friends today. Jemma and Liam played with us today at Liberty Park and then went shopping with us on Broadway in Salt Lake. We went to this cute shop called Frosty Darling Boutique They had lots of cute retro and hand made items. But the best part, for the boys anyways, was a working pony ride.
Luckily Ike has gotten lots of practice on Grandma Laura's horsey so he knew just what to do. He held on for the long ride and had lots of fun. Thanks to Jemma they got to ride it twice. We'll have to go visit it again next time we are in Salt Lake.

Little Daredevil

(ignore the dirty onsie)
My life has gotten a little tougher and Ike's has gotten a little more exciting. The little stinker can not only get up on the sofa by himself he can get onto the end tables, my other chair and as of today his highchair if it's close to the chair. But his favorite thing to do is stand on the edge of the couch then step off. He scared me the first time he did it but he's gotten pretty good at it now.

Stay tuned for what he does next...

Photoshop Fun

I took these pictures last week with the intention of playing with them on photoshop and I finally got around to it.
I've always liked the cross process look. I use to do this the old fashion way which is taking pictures with slide film then processing it like it's negative film. But with photoshop its just a zip bam boom and you've got it.
Ok so I had to watch this demo like 20 times but still, it's easier and cheaper than it use to be.

All Aboard

Look how proud Ike is that he got all his Yo Gabba Gabba characters into his train. He probably would have played with them longer but I interrupted him with the darn camera. I'm pretty sure this means that he's really smart.

Jaunty Angle

Ike likes to find his hat and put it on all by himself.
Only problem is he never quite gets it on right.
He still manages to pull if off and make it look good, and surprisingly it stays on pretty good.

m-I-c-K-E-y m-o-u-s-e

This is Ike's first exposure to Disney and I can't help it, he's adorable. I think the 'Mom' tattoo shirt offsets in nicely.

Of coarse grandma thought he was the cutest thing since sliced cheese, but who wouldn't.

He's even sitting on a Nemo chair, which he loved and didn't want to get out of. Don't worry Ike, with Aunts like Brittany, Emily and Holly you won't be deprived of all things Disney.

New Hat

I told Ike if he kept it on I would buy it for him. He did pretty good. I have a feeling it it's due to Jace's love of hats. The last couple times at Grandma's we've been trying on hats on Ike. I've forgotten the camera both times but just wait till I get a picture of him with Jace's Mickey Mouse ears, too cute. I know what your are going to say Brittany.

Ike is getting stronger by the day

Hurricane Ike that is. Is it wrong that I think it's cool that there is a hurricane named Ike. I can't help it, when I'm listening to the news and they keep mentioning Ike getting stronger or Ike is a catagory 4 I completely know what they mean. You should see my front room. Captian Destructo has already hit my house and I would say he's only a 1.5 at the moment but I'm sure he'll reach a catagory 4 before I know it.

Bouncy bouncy

I broke down and bought an excersize trampoline, pobably to Ryan's dismay, but Ike and I like it. He's been having fun climbing up and bouncing on it.
