Ladies and Gentlemen, we have Roll Over!

This is about the 5th roll over in a row. I had him on the bed, turned around to get something, turned back around and he was on his stomach, so I made him do it again, then I grabbed the camera. I was excited about it until last night at 2am when I was trying to change his diaper and he was trying to turn over the whole time. I'm still proud of my baby boy.

The magical levitating arm

Ike was sleeping on the couch and for some reason his arm was raised up. It was actually higher than his before I could find my camera and snap a picture.

Don't mess with me

I had to leave the red eye in because it made him look even more menacing. What a cute little evil baby. This is just the begining of his frown, one of these days I will get the full blown frown I promise. Only problem is everytime I pointed the camera at him he would smile.

He was crying right before I pointed the camera at him if you can believe it.

So Sad

Ike makes the cutest little frown right before he starts to cry. I was trying to get it on film but instead I got the full blown howl. Thankfully I don't see this face very often. It's kind of cute and sad at the same time.

The Day Ike Laughed

I have to document this. Today Ike laughed for the first time (that I saw).
We went out for Ryan's birthday last night and left Ike with his Aunts and Grandparents. When we got back Ryan's mom informed me that Emily and Jace were making Ike laugh. Well I choose to not believe it because I want to be the first to make him laugh. So today I was singing (badly) Jesus wants me for a sunbeam while I was changing his diaper and he laughed. It was so cute. I'm sure I'll be able to catch in on film soon and hopefully without me singing in the background. Hope you all get to see him laugh soon.

Bath Time

He always looks so sweet after bath time. He really likes taking a bath, and then hang out with dad talking and smiling while I make his bottle. He's got his little routine down.

Bed Head and Cute Lips

He always looks so sweet in the morning so I tried getting a picture of him. The only problem is I bathe him right before bed so when he wakes up his hair is usually out of control. But I thought this one was sweet anyways and he's doing my favorite little puckered lips. He does so many cute faces that only I get to see. I'd try to take pics of them but it's usually when he's attached to my boob, I'm guessing most of you don't want to see that, and if you do I don't want to know about it.

Comments Please!!!

The truth about becoming a blog addict is not just that you feel the need to leave new posts every time your baby sneezes or makes a cute new face, but it means that you check your blog incessantly to see who's checked it and especially who's left a comment. Well you all are slackers (except Sarah and Jen) and don't bother to leave comments. You don't have to just tell me how cute Ike is, you can tell me how great you think I am too, jk.

Don't make me have to ask again.

Daddy's boy

Every time Ryan looked at Ike he got a huge smile on his face, and when he was talking to him he was almost laughing (see video). Ryan is the cutest dad ever and Ike is the cutest baby ever, but then I am a bit biased.

Close to Laughter

This is the closest I've seen him to laughing. Ryan was talking to him and it probly helped that he was watching the Dodger game, that always puts Ike in a good mood.

Retro baby and Pops

My dad made this cool wooden rattle for Ike. He's a whiz at woodworking. You just have to come to my house to see his handy work, I have his bowls and vases all over cause they are so cool.
Holly gave me this outfit Ike's wearing, It's really old, who knows how old exactly but I had to put it on Ike the last time Holly baby sat him to make her laugh. He's cute no matter what he's wearing.

Here's my Pops and Ike. My dad faked sleeping for the pic, you can tell by the smirk on his face, but it's cute anyways cause they really were napping together.

Smiles and Sounds

He's just getting cuter everyday, that's why I have to do a new post everyday. I know you all just want to kiss those chubby cheeks. I'm a lucky girl cause I get to kiss them all I want.

Compare and Contrast

I put my favorite outfit on Ike today, the one that I brought him home from the hospital in. I remembered that I had taken a picture of him in his car seat so I thought it would be fun to take one now with the same outfit to see the change. Yep, he's gotten bigger.

The Earth is not a Cold Dead Place

Dear Explosions in the Sky,

I feel weird writing this, because I feel like you
guys couldn't care less.....but anyway.
On June 7, 2007 my wife and I (mostly my wife), gave
birth to Ike Ebbet W. When the doctor told
us we could bring music to play during the delivery
I knew without a doubt what I wanted to play. The
Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place seemed like the only
album appropriate for the situation. As "Your hand
in Mine" played Ike came into the world, reiterating
the albums title. Thank you for your continuous
writing of the most amazing music my ears have
heard. A picture of Ike is attached, but I
understand if you don't open attachments. If Salt
Lake City is ever an option I suggest you stop by.
Not a bad place to visit, and I can think of 3 fans
that would love to see you.

Baby Boy got Blessed

We blessed Ike this Sunday at Ryan's Parents house. My parents were able to sneak out of the MTC to join us. It was a really nice day. Ryan's Father gave the blessing. It was nice to have our families there to share in Ike's special day.

Sunday at the Park

Ike got to spend the day with three of his favorite cousins Donavon, Simon and Duncan and his favorite Aunt Rainey. He had alot of fun with the boys, thanks for coming to visit us.

Working 9 to 5

Ike got a part time job as an accountant to help with diaper costs. His first day at work was a rough one.

Two Months Old

Ike is now 2 months old, can you believe it. He had his 2 month check up on Tuesday and here are the stats. He now weighs 11lbs 14.5 oz, (55%tile) height 24 inches (95%tile) and his head is 15 inches (50%tile) so pretty much he's perfect.

If you listen close, I say 'are you my sweetest boy' then Ike says 'uh huh'.

Wait for it, wait for it, and he lifts his head up, good job baby boy!

What's there to say

He's simply the cutest boy ever!

Bye Grandma and Grandpa Stevenson. Have fun in Costa Rica on your mission, I'll miss you. As you can see I'm very upset that you're leaving me.

Before and After

Poor little schnauzer, he had to get shaved from head to toe, minus the mustache so we can still call him sir. I couldn't stop laughing the first time I saw him, but he's still our cute little doggy.
